You can order your prescription online, by telephone or by popping in Monday – Friday. If ordering by telephone please ensure you have the name of the medication so that the staff can process your request accurately.
We have a dedicated prescription line where patients can order their prescription between the hours of 8:45am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Please note the prescription line is a voicemail service and we ask that you speak clearly giving your name, address and the medication you require. Medication not on repeat cannot be requested using the prescription line. Please contact the surgery if you require medication not on repeat.

The Practice has developed this section with the help from our Patient Participation Group. Our aim is to offer teenagers lots of useful information and links to resources relating to health and well-being. We have 506 patients registered at the practice between the ages of 13 and 19 – this equates to 7% of our practice population.
We hope you find the links below useful and if you do have any suggestions on how we can improve our services or content information on our website, please do contact me using our generic email address firstname.lastname@example.org or you can speak with me by contacting the surgery on 0191 2362115. Please read about our latest patient survey.
During the summer months of 2014 we conducted a patient satisfaction survey aimed at collecting information relating to the experience patients had when engaging with our reception team.
The survey was open from July 2014 to 30 September 2014. We received a fantastic response with lots of comments and suggestions. Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
The results were collated and shared within our own team, and, we have begun to make some changes.
Changes so far:
Our telephone greeting now includes the name of the receptionist so you know who you are speaking to
Some staff have enrolled on level 2 customer service course with learn direct
We have appointed another GP called Dr Hannah McQuillen who will work Thursday’s and Friday’s
In September 2015 we asked patients booking an appointment with Dr Liddle to think about how long they needed for their appointment, such as 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes. The practice wanted to empower patients to help them make an informed decision of how long they felt they needed with their doctor.
Here are the results:
We will be reviewing this again in September 2016
